Welcome!

SJI K9 Detection Club is a nonprofit 501(c)(7) dedicated to providing handlers and their dogs a supportive, fun place to develop real detection skills.

We provide opportunities for scent work practice, human and canine socialization, skill‑building, and education in canine olfaction. Teams can train for enjoyment, personal growth, trial preparation, or testing under K9 Nose Work® rules.

Above all, we celebrate the partnership between dog and handler, and between teams. In our club, every team is valued, every dog is family—and every dog is a champion.

"Everyone in the club has the best search dog in the whole world, and every dog is our dog."
